What does your simplified life look like?
A “comfortable” life, the one we all think we want, can be a chaotic one.
When we live life in a consistent rut we have a tendency to collect the unwanted and unneeded along the way. Even if we aren’t hoarders, it is so easily just to fill our lives with STUFF.
How many of the following have you collected in the past 6 months that you don’t really need or want now:
- Clothes or shoes
- Amazon boxes
- Photos / videos on your phone
- Friends on social media
- Gadgets, kitchen utensils, tech stuff
This week, it’s time for an October Cleaning of your Life. Get out of your rut & bust your comfort zone of materialism!
COMMIT TO A LIFE-CLEAN THIS WEEK
This week, take time to clean out. Pick a closet and pack up anything that doesn’t give you joy, Marie Kondo-style. Spend quality time un-friending people who make you feel bad about yourself on Facebook or Instagram. Delete photos on your phone, and make actual prints of the ones you love, and put them up around your place. Open your calendar, and say no to things that you don’t love and don’t serve you. Clean out your car, your utensil drawer, your stash of old electronics and cables, DVD’s. Find old jewelry or watches that you don’t wear and give them to a child as a gift from you.
So many ideas.
Pick one. 🙂
Lets’ do this! Let’s clean out this week!
